We believe it is our responsibility to you, our customers, to ensure that you enjoy your gambling experience using our services, while remaining aware of the potential risks associated with problem gambling.

In order to assist our players in gambling responsibly, we ensure that all our staff receive responsible gambling awareness training.

What is Problem Gambling?

Problem gambling is behaviour which causes harm to the gambler and those around them. This may include family, friends or even work colleagues. If someone is struggling to control their gambling behaviour it can cause stress, depression, anxiety, and will often worry about money.

If your gambling is causing any of these affects, it is considered problem gambling.

If you are still unsure whether you have a problem with gambling, ask yourself these simple questions:

  1. Does gambling prevent you from attending work or college?
  2. Have others ever criticised you for your gambling?
  3. Have you lied, stolen or borrowed in order to maintain betting habits?
  4. Are you reluctant to spend gambling money on anything else?
  5. Do you gamble until you lose all your money?
  6. After losing, do you feel that you have to try and win back the losses as soon as possible?
  7. Following a gambling session, do you feel depressed or contemplate hurting yourself?

If you answer yes to any of the above questions, it is possible that you have or are developing a gambling problem.

The controls KGVIP offer are designed to help you if you feel like to you losing control of your gambling and it is becoming a problem.

KGVIP want you to enjoy your time with us and gamble responsibly.

Maintaining control

While we hope that KGVIP customers gamble within their means, we recognise that for some people it can be more difficult. In order to maintain control of your gambling habits we would like you to consider the following points:

  • Gambling should be an enjoyable pastime and not a way of supporting your income
  • Do not chase losses or chase big wins
  • Only gambling what you know you can afford to lose
  • Keep track of the time you spend gambling – take regular breaks
  • Make yourself familiar with the tools and controls offered by KGVIP

Deposit Limits and other controls

You can set a daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit on your account either via your account settings or by contacting the KGVIP customer support team.

If you want to select a deposit limit, simply enter the amount you want your deposits to be limited to and then enter the time period you want your deposits to be restricted by.

For example: If you choose a deposit limit of $100 and select weekly as your time period, you will prevented from depositing any funds over $100 for a 7 day period. At the end of the 7 days, your limit shall reset and you may deposit upto a maximum of $100 for the next 7 days.

You can lower your deposit limits at any time through your account settings or by contacting the KGVIP customer support team. Reductions in deposit limits are automatic and immediate via your account settings however, if you choose to set a deposit limit through our KGVIP customer support team, they will confirm to you when the deposit limit has been activated.

We do not recommend requesting a deposit limit via email however, we shall try to process your request within 24 hours.

You can control your betting by setting a maximum limit on your daily, weekly or monthly deposits by entering your selection within your Account or by contacting our KGVIP customer support team.

You can increase or decrease your deposit limit at any time. If you increase your deposit limit we are required by law to apply a 7 day cooling-off period, before making the change. When the new limit takes effect the full amount of your new limit will be available to you irrespective of previous deposits made or limits set.

KGVIP also offers a Time Out Responsible Gambling control in order to better protect you from problem gambling.

  • Time Out allows you to take a temporary break from gambling if you think you have been playing too hard. A Cooling Off period can be for as little as 1 day or as long as 6 weeks. When you select a Cooling Off period, we will prevent you from accessing your KGVIP account for the period selected by you.

Self-exclusion is a facility where you would like us to restrict access to your KGVIP account for a time period selected by you.

Self-exclusion periods range from 6 months to permanent and may not be terminated or shortened in any way. A self-exclusion period can be extended anytime for a minimum period of at least 6 months, or you can apply a Time Out of between 1 day and 6 weeks to your account after requesting reactivation, following an initial 6 month temporary self-exclusion.

You may self-exclude from either your personal settings section of your account – which will be an instant exclusion and you will be automatically logged out of your account. We recommend withdrawing any balance on your account before requesting a self-exclusion.
